Edmund Amidon Poyneer II

Born 18 May 1943 – Died 15 Oct 2023

He was born in Seattle, Washington and live most of his life in western Washington. He has been a resident of Mountain Home, Idaho for 17 yrs. He drove school bus for Mountain Home Schools. Loved riding his motorcycle, singing, going to the Temple, The Gospel, his family and “Planes, Trains, & Packards”… He served 12 yrs. In the Army Reserves while in college. He had a Masters of Divinity degree, a BA in Family Counseling and Bible Literature. He worked for the Boeing Co. for 25 yrs. making sure the wings & body fit “Just Right”.

He was 80 yrs. old when he went “Home to be with Jesus”.

He was preceded in death by: His parents: Kenneth Amidon & Mearle (Lane) Poyneer; Sister: Patricia L Poyneer; Grandson: Logan A Poyneer. He is survived by his brother & sister-in-law: Kenneth A & Ronee (Dorsett) Poyneer.

He is also survived by: Linnie (Vanderford) Poyneer – wife of 38 yrs. & Eternal Companion. They had a combined family of 6 wonderful kids: Edmund A Poyneer III, SuZanne M Silkett, Heather R (Silkett) Green, Melanie A Silkett, Thomas O Silkett Jr. and Nathan E. A. Poyneer, 1 nephew & 8 Grandkids.

Ed did not want to say “Good-bye”, But rather “I’ll see you at Home”.
