Obituary of Ray Glen Page

Ray Page, age 62, of Mountain Home, Idaho passed away suddenly on March 28, 2023, at St. Lukes in Boise, after a brief illness. Cremation is under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Ray was born on September 5, 1960, in Fowler, California.  In 1980, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served for 25 years before retiring.  His drive to give back to his community and his passion for helping others led him to take on a career at the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office, and he was sworn in as a Deputy in 2005.  Ray continued to work for the Sheriff’s Office for the next 18 years.  During his tenure at the Sheriff's Office, he not only worked as the Hills Deputy, taking routine trips to Pine & Atlanta during peak holiday tourist traffic, he also took on an extensive role with the Elmore County Drug and DUI Court. Which expanded over the years and became a passion project in his life.  His involvement with the participants led to life-changing outcomes and had positive influences with people all throughout our County.

He was married to his loving wife Vicki for 38 years. Together, they raised two beautiful, successful children, Jessica and Justin. He loved and spoiled their three grandchildren, Preston, Stetson, and Maddy. Ray is also survived by his sisters, Patricia Contreras and Sherry McConnell.
