Levi Hill

Obituary of Levi Benjamin Hill

Levi Benjamin Hill gained his angel wings on Friday, December 16, 2022, at the age of 36. Cremation is under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, per Levi’s request a celebration of life will be held in the spring/summer 2023.

Levi was born on April 24, 1986, to Lonnie Hill and Deborah (Green) Hill in Twin Falls Idaho. Levi was raised in Buhl, Idaho and graduated from Buhl High School, started Computer Engineering at the College of Southern Idaho, and worked with Dell Computers as an IT Support Specialist. Later he became a master butcher at Don's Thriftway in Buhl.

Levi had a passion for learning which allowed him the opportunity to wear many hats to better understand the world around him. From a very young age he had a love for music, mastered the piano and enjoyed playing for his loved ones. Levi was an avid outdoorsman starting from a young age with Cub Scouts continuing throughout his adult life. Levi had a second passion in life, (the world of gaming) this passion was one he loved throughout his life. He was also an avid reader throughout his life finding many comforts in the books he read. In later years Levi took on the position of caring for his best friends throughout their lives (Brad Hurst and Caycee Lechner).

In 2012, Levi met his soulmate and best friend Justine (Turner) Hill. His mom remembers him saying “Mom I don't know how I managed to land such a beautiful woman inside and out. (It's a God thing son!)” On August 8, 2014, Levi and his best friend Justine were joined together as one. Surrounded by God, family and friends they made the promise to begin their journey together. Levi and Justine resided in Glenns Ferry, Idaho and made a home there. Levi and Justine considered their four-legged fur babies as their children.

Levi is survived by two kitty cats, Hank and Lucky and one dog, Alli. They were like children to him. Levi and Justine loved to travel and go on many adventures, with never a dull moment with the trickster Levi.

Levi is survived by his beautiful wife, Justine (Turner) Hill, of Glenns Ferry Idaho; father Lonnie Hill of Emmett, Idaho; mother Deborah Hill (Kogi Naidoo) of Cuenca Ecuador; 3 siblings Carol (Edgar) Dodge of Boise, Victoria Hill (Pam Helvey), life partner, of Salem, Oregon and Justin (Larissa Krutik) Hill of Everett, Washington; nephew Michael Schroeder and pseudo brother of Port Townsend, Washington; niece Makaela (Dakota) Ringley Garcia Scott of Germany; nephew Jacob (Mary) Dodge of Boise,Idaho; niece Kelsey (Kevin) Trombly of Boise; grandfather Benjamin Green of Horseshoe Bend Idaho and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins including nieces’ and nephews of the late Debra Hill Trumbull; Godmother Nancy Pierce and Godfather Dick Jardine.

Levi is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ruth and Broadus Hill of Horseshoe Bend, his maternal grandmother, Mary Green of Horseshoe Bend and his sister, Debra Trumbull of Fairfield Idaho.

In closing Levi had an infectious smile that was welcoming to so many which made him unforgettable, an incredible sense of humor (the prank man) and a loving and caring heart. To my husband I will love you to the moon and back forever and always (always and forever) till we meet again. I love you.
