Obituary of Terry Lee Hipwell

Terry Lee Hipwell (Turbo), age 59, of Mountain Home, passed away October 28, 2022. A viewing will be held at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 4 P.M.-7 P.M.. Graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Grand View at 1 P.M. on Saturday, November 12, 2022. Arrangements are under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Terry was born May 10, 1963, in Mountain Home to Glen and Roberta (Birdie) Hipwell.

Terry grew up In Grand View, Idaho and started farming with his dad and older brother around the age of seven. He attended Grand View Elementary and graduated from Rimrock High School in 1981. He was drawn to the fields and farmed his whole career, working with Jack Post and Jason Meyers for much of it. He was fun loving, had an infectious laugh, and held deep compassion for those around him. He was a sociable man that loved to tell stories and visit with friends and family.

Terry is survived by his mother Birdie Hipwell, son Wylee Renner, brother Jerry and wife Cyndi Hipwell, sister Gayle and husband Max Nelson, several nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and great nephews, and special friends Doug, Ayla, and Bobby.

Terry is preceded in death by his father Glen, maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, two aunts and 7 uncles.
