Obituary of Gilbert Estes

Gilbert Clifton Estes, age 91, of Boise, passed away at a Boise hospital on July 14, 2022.  A private family internment with military honors was held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Mountain View Cemetery, in Mountain Home.  Arrangements were under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Gilbert was born on March 2, 1931, in Lewiston, Idaho the son of Gilbert and Myrtle Estes. 

Gilbert was married to Lois (Wells) Estes for 67 years.  Together they had four children.  He was retired from the US Air Force and received a Bachelor’s Degree from Gonzaga University.  He was a Christian and enjoyed reading and watching movies.

Gilbert is survived by his wife Lois, his sons Darren of Meridian, Randall of Spokane, Washington, and Steven of Boise.  He was preceded in death by his daughter.
