Obituary of Lisa Ann Thornton

Lisa Ann Thornton was born to James Edmund Thornton and Sally Ann McKinney on May 8, 1964, in Ontario, California.  She unexpectedly went back to her loving Heavenly Father on July 11, 2022.  In 1982, Lisa graduated from Hurricane High School in Hurricane, Utah.

She was blessed with three children: James Paul Perry, Alanya Daniel Perry, and Sharaya Nicole Perry.  On July 4, 2022, she celebrated her 15th Anniversary with the love of her life, Michael Oliver Buckland.  Her heart was filled with peace as she and Michael built their life in Mountain Home, Idaho.  She developed a love for gardening and connecting to the earth.

She is survived by her husband Michael Buckland, son James Paul Perry, grandchildren Ryler and Abbie.  Daughters Alanya Daniel Perry and Sharaya Perry.  Her mother Sally Sullivan, sister Genie Khalsa, brother Richard Anderson and sisters Nancy Kaminski, Debra Thornton, Brenda Wood, and Lorena Swenson.  She is preceded in death by her fathers James Edmund Thornton, and William Paul Sullivan, sister Sandra Burrus and brother Christian Sullivan.

Services will be held at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel on Saturday, July 23, 2022 with a viewing from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM and funeral service at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, on Monday, July 25, 2022, at Mountain View Cemetery, in Mountain Home.
