Obituary of Steven M. Evans

Steven Evans, age 61, of Mountain Home passed away at home on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. A memorial service will be held at Human Development Center on the Duck Valley Indian Reservation on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. Cremation was under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.  

Steve was born on November 2, 1960 to Lester Evans and Thelma Thacker. He was an enrolled member of The Duck Valley Indian Reservation. He held various jobs working at Magic West, Bruneau Sand Dunes, Nashua Mobile Homes and performing auto body work. Steve lived most of his life in Mountain Home. 

Steve is survived by brothers Raymond Howard of Mountain Home and Matthew Hansen, sisters Connie Thacker Waldroup of Cherokee, North Carolina and Lori Cunnington of Fallon, Nevada, niece Candi Waldroup and nephew Chris Waldroup as well as close friend Wayne Steele. 

Steve is preceded in death by both of his parents and a sister Brenda Evans.
