Obituary of Walter Tracy McCall
Walter Tracy McCall, beloved brother, uncle, and friend to many, passed away on October 24, 2020 after a brief illness.
Mr. McCall, 69, was the 9th child born to James H. and Jewel McCall in Fenholloway, Florida.
He was a member of the Grand View Mennonite Church where he immediately became loved by all. He was baptized on May 26, 2019 by minister Les Isaac, remaining faithful until the Lord took him home. He loved working with the youth in the church and he especially loved the music.
Mr. McCall was also an active member of AA for over 33 years. He generously gave of his time to serve as a sponsor of others.
He lived most of his life in Florida and worked for several years as a trucker. He moved to Idaho approximately 10 years ago to be near his sister Lavonne Heuck and her family. He loved fishing and spent countless hours in the mountains around Silver City, Idaho.
Mr. McCall is survived by his sisters, Virginia Trofemuk, Merelyn Holmes, Lavonne Heuck, Hope Sullivan, and Carol Clifford. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Betty, and his brothers James F. McCall, Samuel H. McCall, G. Lindsay McCall, and J. Timothy McCall.
Funeral services were held on October 27, at Grand View Mennonite Church with burial in Grand View Mennonite Cemetery. Arrangements by Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
